South Indian Bank Clerk 2020 Salary Structure

The income of the South Indian Bank PO is Rs. 23700– 980/7 – 30560- 1145/2 – 32850- 1310/7 - 42020 along with the DA, HRA & other allowances. The income scale is verified by the Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
During the training period, the candidates will be provided with a sum of Rs. 3000/- per month for all the 8 months of the training period and with a sum of Rs. 15000/- for the next 4 months of the internship.

The income of the South Indian Bank Clerk will be in accordance with the national level bipartite settlement in the banking sector. Along with this, the candidate will be receiving the DA, HRA, and other allowances also.

South Indian Bank Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit Criteria for PO

Candidate should be

  • Less than 25 years.
  • Born of the candidate should not be earlier than 01.07.1994.
  • Also, the born of the candidate not later than 30.06.2000 (both days inclusive).
  • For SC/ST candidates the Upper Age Limit will be relaxed by 5 years.

Candidate should be

  • Less than 26 years.
  • Born of the candidate should not be earlier than 01.07.1993.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must possess all the degrees as mentioned below:

  • Graduation with minimum 60% marks (under regular course)

Probation Period

The probation period for South Indian Bank PO post is of 2 years. And all the candidates will be provided with a Confirmation letter once the probation period is successfully completed.

South Indian Bank 2020 Selection Process

The selection process of the exam will be conducted in three specific steps as mentioned below:

  1. Online Exam
  2. Group Discussion (GD)
  3. Personal Interview

The initial selection will be on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the online exam. The Final Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of merged marks of the candidates in Online Exam, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.

The South Indian Bank recruitment 2019 notification was released for the posts of- 1. Bank PO & 2. Bank Clerk vacancies! A total of 545 vacancies were provided for the post of Bank PO and Bank Clerk in the Bank.
