SEBI Grade A 2020 Salary 

The pay scale of SEBI Grade A manager is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-343501750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600- 2000(1)-55600 (17 years).

SEBI Grade A In Hand Salary

Taking into account allowances, the gross emolument scale is approx. Rs. 1,07,000/- per month without accommodation and Rs. 73,000/- per month with accommodation.

SEBI Grade A 2020 Exam Pattern For Phase I & Phase II

a) SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern For Phase I

The on-line examination will consist of two papers of 100 marks each. The SEBI Grade A Online Exam For Phase I will be held on 4th July, 2020. The pattern of Phase-I is given below.

Marking Scheme For SEBI Grade A Officer Recruitment Phase II

  • There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Paper 2 in Phase II
    (except IT stream for which details shall be informed in due course).
  • Candidates would need to secure separate cut-off in each paper as mentioned at (iv) above as well as
    aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in Phase II exam (weightage of 1/3rd for Paper 1 and 2/3rd for Paper 2)
    to be shortlisted for Phase III.

c) Interview

Candidates who clear Phase I and Phase II will be shortlisted for the interview. The candidate may opt for an interview either in Hindi or English. Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in the interview shall be given a weightage of 15%. Thus, the final selection will be made on the basis of Phase II and the interview.

SEBI Grade A Syllabus For Phase II: Paper I

This is common for all the candidates appearing for SEBI Grade A Phase II Exam. This is the English Descriptive Test to test the drafting skills of the candidates. This test will be of 100 marks of 60 minutes.

English Writing Skill Syllabus

The paper on English shall be framed in a manner to assess the writing skills including expression and
understanding of the topic including precis writing/ essay writing/ comprehension.

Interview

The candidates who will be successful in Phase I and Phase II of SEBI Grade A Officer Recruitment will be called to appear for the Interview. Candidates equaling 3 times the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted, in order of merit, for Phase III i.e. the Interview.

The shortlisted candidate may opt for the interview either in Hindi or English. Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in the interview shall be given a weightage of 15%.

Thus, the selection will be made on the marks secured in Phase II and Interview for the final selection for the candidates as a SEBI Grade A Officer.

Step 2: Click on the Apply Link given on the page. A registration link will open up in the new window.
Step 3: Click on New Registration in the application window. Then click on the register button.
Step 4: Candidates need to provide personal credentials like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on the submit button to the completed online registration. All the candidates will be issued Registration ID. Then, log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SEBI Grade A 2020
Step 6: In the next step, Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwriting declaration (given below).

Handwritten Declaration: 

“I,               (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

  • Size of file should be between 10kb – 20kb for signature and left thumb.
  • For handwriting declaration size of the file should be 20kb – 50 kb.
