SBI Apprentice 2020 Cut Off

Candidates who are going to apply for SBI Apprentice Exam will have to score minimum cut off marks of the Exam. The bank will check the cut off marks in respect to the number of vacancies, reservation policy and performance of candidates in the exam. Specific cut off marks will be decided for different states and categories.

SBI Apprentice 2020

SBI will release a recruitment drive to select 700 candidates as Apprentice across the state of Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. SBI Apprentice recruitment notification will be released in  September 2020 and application process will begin on the same day.

In order to apply for the apprentice recruitment in SBI, candidates are required to ensure the minimum eligibility criteria to submit the online application form. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of a test via online mode which will be conducted in October 2020.

SBI Apprentice 2020 Salary

The qualified candidates in the SBI Apprentice will receive 70% wage applicable for semi-skilled labours in the respective states as per Apprentices Act or Rs. 8000/- per month (the one which will be higher). Other than this, no benefit will be given to the selected candidates.

SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2020

The interested candidates who wants to apply for SBI Apprentice are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as made by the bank in order to apply for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020. Only the eligible candidates will be allowed to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria is provided below:

In order to apply for SBI Apprentice, the candidates should be at least 20 years of age and they should also not be older than 28 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates willing to apply for SBI Apprentice 2020 must have a Graduate Degree in any stream from a recognized University / Institute.

Other Criteria

Apart from the above eligibility criteria, there are certain conditions that the candidates should fulfil to become eligible to apply for SBI Apprentice

  • They must not have undergone apprenticeship either in SBI or any other organization
  • They should not have one year of training or job experience after completing their education
  • They should also have an Aadhaar card (except for North Eastern States candidates)

  • All the questions will be Objective Type MCQs
  • Questions will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi
  • There will be negative marking, for every incorrect answer 1/4th marks assigned to the question will be deducted
  • There will be no penalty for unanswered questions
  • Question paper will be divided into 4 parts, each containing 25 questions for 25 marks
  • You will get 15 minutes for each section and total duration of exam will be 1 hour

Only the qualified candidates of the online exam will be able to appear for Local Language Test, although, the candidates who have already studied the local language at class 10th or 12th level will be free from the Local Language Test.

SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2020

SBI will choose the appropriate candidates for Apprenticeship program by conducting an exam via online mode, of 100 marks in which only the registered candidates will be able to appear. The qualified candidates of the online exam will be selected for final selection process and during this, Local Language Test will be conducted to examine the candidate’s capability in the language which they have chosen. The candidates will be unable to qualify Local Language test will be disqualified immediately while the qualifying candidates will be appointed as SBI Apprentice.

The bank will not give a hard copy of the Admit Card / Call Letter to the candidates, so candidates must download it by themselves from the official website. Along with the Call Letter candidates must also download “acquaint yourself booklet” to gain all the necessary information about the exam.
