RPF Constable 2020 Vacancies
RPF constable vacancy 2020 will be announced in the RPF constable notification, which is likely to be released soon. Candidates planning to appear for RPF constable 2020 must be aware of the zone wise vacancies. RPF constable vacancies are released by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board). In the upcoming RPF constable notification, vacancies for female candidates will be higher than previous year as per media reports. The Ministry of Railways is planning to induct more women in RPF to increase its overall strength.
RPF constable vacancy for 2020 has not been released so far, therefore the exact number of vacancies cannot be said. In last RPF constable exam, the Railway board had an opening for 8619 constable posts. Find the category wise vacancies below:

This year as well, similar number of RPF constable vacancies are expected. However, it is expected that the Ministry of Railways will announce an increased number of openings for female candidates to increase the number of female constables in RPF.
RPF Constable Eligibility 2020
The basic criteria that candidates need to meet in order to fulfill RPF Constable eligibility are:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens
- Age: Age of the candidates must be between 18 and 25
- Educational Qualification: SSLC/ Matric from a recognised board
- Candidates must possess certain physical criteria and physical efficiency
RPF Constable 2020 Exam pattern
CBT is the first stage of RPF constable selection process. The exam will be held for all the candidates who are going to apply. This exam will be conducted simultaneously for all the groups across the country. Find the salient features of RPF constable CBT below:
- The question paper will be made available in Hindi and English along with in different regional languages, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujurati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Manipuri and Punjabi
- Level of the exam will be of 10th or Matric level, questions will be framed following RPF constable syllabus
- All questions are compulsory in the paper, candidates will be awarded 1 marks for each right answer
- Negative marking policy is followed in CBT; 1/3 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer

RPF Constable Exam Pattern: PET & PMT
All the successful candidates in CBT will be called for PET and PMT. As per recruitment policy, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for PET and PMT. PET is qualifying in nature but candidates have to qualify all the sections. RPF constable PET standards are given below:

RPF Constable Preparation Tips 2020
The first step towards making a preparation strategy is to understand the RPF constable syllabus and RPF constable exam pattern; both play a crucial role in achieving success. Syllabus and pattern are released along with RPF constable notification. Go through the syllabus and divide it into several parts as per your own understanding. This can be done subject wise. RPF Constable Selection Process 2020
The selection process for RPF Constable or RPF constable exam pattern comprises several stages. They have been given below:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first stage is a computer-based online test. The total duration of this test is 90 minutes and candidates are asked questions on General awareness and Science, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
- PET/PMT: Those who clear CBT, get call for Physical Measurement Test (PET) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests are just qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification: Those who qualify in the PET and PMT are called for Document verification.
- Medical Examination: The next step of the selection process is medical examination of shortlisted candidates at Railway Hospitals.
- Training: Upon successful completion of the above steps, candidates need to undergo certain training to get a certificate, which at the end facilitates their official joining process.
RPF Constable Result 2020
The Final merit list of RPF Constable 2020 has been released by RPF on its official website on March 26. Candidates can download the lists of different groups through the website.
RPF constable results for different stages will be released separately. Results for the different groups, A, B, C, D, E and F will be released separately for the recruitment process.
