National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development or NABARD is a wholesale financial organization in India that serves to the requirements of rural population by providing credit for agriculture and other economic activities in rural areas in India. As it is one of the most popular banks within our country India, it’s recruitment fascinates a lot of youths per annum who wishes to hitch the banking sector in rural areas. The bank grabs eligible candidates both on regular and contractual basis. Regular basis recruitment is conducted to replenish the posts in type A, B and C.
The Recruitment process for NABARD Group A post is done for several Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS), Protocol & Security Service (P&SS), Rajbhasa and Legal. Candidates for Group B post is chosen for Development Assistant. Selection of candidates for Group C post is successfully completed for Office Assistant. NABARD Recruitment Salary
The basic stipend of a selected candidate is Rs 35,150 per month. The payment scale is Rs 35150 - 1750 (9) - 50900 - EB - 1750(2) - 54400 - 2000 (4) - 62400 (16 years). In fact they are also eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance. At present, the initial monthly evident charges of the selected candidates are Rs 73, 600.
NABARD Grade B 2020 Eligibility Criteria
For a candidate to be eligible for the NABARD Grade B recruitment 2020, he is required to fulfill a certain set of norms in terms of eligibility like age criteria, educational qualification as well as nationality as given below:
Educational qualification – All those candidates who are interested in the NABARD Grade B exam must have completed their graduation or post-graduation in any subject/discipline are eligible for the exam. The minimum criteria of qualifying marks is 60% but for the SC/ST/PWBD candidates, it is 55%. Also the PhD holders can apply for the same.
Age limit: Candidates between the age limit of 21 to 35 years can apply for the exam.
NABARD Grade B 2020 Selection Process
All the required details of the selection process of NABARD recruitment is explained below:
Filling the application form
The initial stage of selection of the exam is the filling of the NABARD recruitment application form. All the interested candidates are required to apply online for the exam. The charges for the application form for Grade A exam is Rs 800 for General Category and Rs 150 for SC/ST/ PWBD. For those candidates who are applying for General Category are required to pay Rs 900 while all the SC/ST/PWBD candidates are required to submit Rs 150 for SC/ ST/ PWBD.
Release of Admit Card
All the admit cards of the candidates are released phase-wise. At first the NABARD admit cards for the preliminary exam section are released on the notified date. Then those candidates who qualifies the preliminary exam are provided with the admit cards for the mains exam. Interview call letters are given to the qualified candidates of the mains exam.
Appearing in the online test
The online test of the NABARD Grade B is conducted in two consecutive phases – preliminary and mains exam. All the interested candidates who have registered themselves are required to first appear in the preliminary exam. The preliminary exam is conducted for a duration of 2 hours. The test comprises of seven interesting sections carrying a weightage of 200 marks. The mains exam comprises of both, the MCQ part as well as the descriptive paper part. The test includes three papers – in which I is Descriptive Type Paper while the other two,Paper II and III, are of MCQ type. Each paper is held for a duration of 90 minutes and for a total of 100 marks. Candidates who’ll be called for the mains exam will be selected in the ratio of 1:25.
Declaration of result
The result of NABARD Grade B recruitment process examination is released for preliminary, mains and interview. It has been announced online. All the candidates who gave exams can check their result online by logging with the required information.
Interview
The interview phase is conducted only for the qualified candidates of the Phase II exam and who have secured sufficiently high rank in the merit also. Then all the qualified candidates with the ratio of 1:5 will be called for the Interview phase. The interview will be comprised of a total of 40 marks.
Preparation of Merit List
The preliminary exam of NABARD Grade B is of qualifying nature. The merit list is made based on the candidates performance in the mains exam and the interview process. As all the vacancies of the mentioned post are distributed discipline-wise, therefore, the merit list for each phase of the exam is also made discipline-wise.
