JEE Advanced 2020 cutoff will act as a screening process for inclusion in the rank list and for admission in the institute. The cutoff is divided in two parts – qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff of JEE Advanced 2020 consists of the minimum marks that the candidates have to secure to be listed out in the rank list. Admission cutoff is the minimum ranks which the candidates will have to secure to have higher chances of admissions into the participating institutes. The cutoff will be different as per the category, course and institute selected by the candidates.

JEE Advanced AAT Cutoff 2020

The minimum marks that should be secured by the candidates to have higher chances of admissions into the participating institutes constitute JEE Advanced AAT 2020, Acting as a screening process, the cutoff will allow the institutes to shortlist those candidates who might have chances of admission. The cutoff will be different for various categories, course and institute.  

JEE Advanced 2020

IIT Delhi will now conduct JEE Advanced 2020 on August 23 as announced by HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' which was postponed due to COVID-19. JEE Advanced is the exam for admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the 23 IITs of the country. Students who qualify JEE Main and is in top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit becomes eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. The exam is conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee under the aegis of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The application forms of JEE Advanced 2020 will be available in online mode. The entrance test is held in two shifts (9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm) as computer based test. The exam has two mandatory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2 formulated from syllabus released by the JEE Advanced authorities. JEE Advanced admit card 2020 will be available for all the registered candidates. The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) was to be held on June 12, 2020 while the results for the same was scheduled to be announced on June 16. Admissions are through counselling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority also known as JoSAA.

JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Advanced 2020 eligibility criteria are the conditions which every candidate have to fulfil in order to be eligible for appearing in exam and admission process.  Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2020 before filling the application form. Candidates who are found ineligible will be disqualified from the examination process. JEE Advanced eligibility criteria have been listed out below:

  • Age Limit – General category candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Relaxation of 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category.
  • Qualifying Examination – Should have passed 10+2th standard qualifying (or equivalent) examination in 2019. Those who are appearing for the exam in 2020 will also be eligible for JEE Advanced. 
  • JEE Main – The candidates should have qualified JEE Main examination. The cutoff for admissions into IITs should also be met by the candidates
  • Number of Attempts – For JEE Advanced, the candidates would be able to attempt the examination two times in two consecutive years. 
  • IIT Admissions – The candidates should have never taken admission in an IIT irrespective of whether they continued the programme or not or just accepted the seat by reporting at the centre. The candidates who have earlier joined any IIT but had subsequently cancelled their admission will also not be termed eligible for JEE Advanced.

 

JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria 2020

There are certain conditions that every aspirant have to meet to attempt JEE Advanced AAT 2020. Firstly, the candidates should have attempted and qualified JEE Advanced 2020 examination. Currently, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee provide admissions into B.Arch courses, so the candidates would have to secure the required cutoff to have higher chances of admission.

IIT Delhi will release the official exam structure of JEE Advanced in its information brochure. The admit card of JEE Advanced 2020 will be released in online mode. Only registered candidates can access the JEE Advanced 2020 admit card. It is an important document which has to be produced at the exam centre. Inability to produce the admit card will lead to the candidate’s disqualification from attempting the examination. Information about the examination centre and timings will be mentioned in the admit card. No separate admit card will be published for JEE Advanced AAT 2020. The candidates will have to produce their JEE Advanced 2020 admit card at the examination venue. Failure to produce the admit card will lead to the candidates being unable to attempt the examination. The admit card also has to be kept safely since it will be required for the rest of the admission process.

JEE Advanced 2020 Result

IIT Delhi will release the JEE Advanced result 2020 in online mode. The result will be in the form of a score card containing marks secured by candidates in both the paper along with all India rank, qualifying status and cutoff marks. Candidates will be able to check their examination performance in detail through the result of JEE Advanced 2020. Using the result, the rank list will also be prepared by the authorities.

JEE Advanced AAT Result 2020

The admission authorities will release the JEE Advanced AAT 2020 result in online mode. The scores, rank and qualification status of the candidates will be present in the result of JEE Advanced AAT 2020. The steps to access the result of JEE Advanced AAT 2020 is given below:
