IBPS 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All the interested candidates who wants to apply for the IBPS clerk examination should ensure the eligibility criteria first. So before applying for the exam, candidates must ensure their eligibility for the exam.

Nationality: All the interested candidates must be the citizens of India. Besides the candidates who are the citizens of Bhutan, Nepal and Tibetan refugees who reached before 1st Jan 1962 are also eligible to apply for the exam. The Indian candidates who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malawi, etc. are also eligible to apply.

Age: The candidates must be in the age limit of 20-28 years. The candidates of some specific categories have some age relaxation.

Education Qualification: All the interested candidates must be graduates from any discipline from any verified university. Candidates must acquire some basic knowledge of operating computers. Candidate should also be good in the official language of his/her state.

IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern

The recruitment process is divided into two phases: – 1. preliminary and 2. mains. All the qualified candidates from pre exam will be able to attempt the mains exam. The examination will be given in two languages - 1. Hindi and 2. English, except for the English section of the examination which will be available in English language only. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in both the above mentioned exams.

Preliminary Exam:

  • The mode of an exam will be online.
  • There will be three sections in the exam English, quant, and reasoning.
  • There will be a total of 100 questions in an exam.
  • The duration of an exam will be of 1 hour.
  • There will be the deduction of the ¼th mark for each wrong answer.

Main Exam:

  • The mode of an exam will be online.
  • There will be five sections in the exam English, quant, general awareness, computer and reasoning.
  • There will be a total 200 questions in an exam.
  • The duration for an exam will be of 2 hours.
  • There will be a deduction of the ¼th mark for each wrong answer.
     

IBPS Clerk 2020 Application Form

  • The candidates can apply for IBPS clerk within the prescribed time period. The application form will be available in the official website.
  • Visit the official website
  • Read the details regarding the registration process.
  • Now register yourself by providing your basic details
  • A unique registration id and password will be sent to your email id.
  • Login using registration id and password
  • Fill the details of the application form like your DOB, address, gender, educational record, etc.
  • Upload the scanned documents like photograph and signature.
  • Make the payment using net banking, debit card /credit card.
  • Check the details again before submitting the form.
  • Click on submit.
  • Take out the print out of the application form.

  • The application fees can be submitted through online mode by debit card, credit card, net banking, etc.

  • SC/ST/PWD /ex-serviceman:- Rs. 100/-
