There are a total of 1724 vacancies to be filled in HPSSSB 2019 and shall be updated for 2020 soon.

HPSSSB 2020 Eligibility Criteria

There are 2 criteria on which the eligibility of a candidate is judged for the HPSSSB 2020 exam - education and age. You need to qualify following eligibility standards to apply for this exam.

1. HPSSSB Age Limit (as by 4th August 2020)

• Minimum Age - 18 years
• Maximum Age - 45 years

You need to fall under this upper & lower age limit to apply for NIACL Assistant.

2. Age Relaxation

The Age Relaxation for New India Assurance Recruitment 2020 will be applicable as per Govt. norms. The NIACL Assistant 2020 Age Relaxation for different categories are as follows:

• SC/ST - 5 years
• OBC (Non - Creamy Layer) - 3 years
• PWD - 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen - 5 years

3. HPSSSB Educational Qualification

• TGT –  You should have completed B.Sc (Medical) and B.Ed or its equivalent from a recognized university.
• Junior Engineers – You should have completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Lab Assistant – You should be 12th passed from Science stream from a recognized board.
• Dental Mechanics/Dental Hygienist – You should have completed a 2 years certificate course of Dental Mechanic/Technician/Hygienist from a Dental Hospital/Medical Institution duly recognized by the Dental Council of India.
• Food Safety Officer – You should have a Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degrees in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from recognized University.
• Stenographer – You should have passed 10+2 examination and possess the following typing speed in Shorthand and Computer.​

How to Apply for HPSSSB 2020 exam?

You can apply for HPSSSB 2020 Exam through Online mode only by following the below mentioned steps:

1. You can register through HPSSSB official website.
2. You have to pay the Application fee online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets, etc.
3. Use a valid email ID that should be kept active till the declaration of results.
4. You should keep a scanned photograph and signature ready as per requirements mentioned in the official notification.
5. Submit the Application Form.
6. Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

HPSSSB Exam 2020 Selection Process

The Selection Process for various posts in HPSSSB is different as mentioned below:

For 653 to 657, 659 to 672,675 to 688 , 690 to 691, 694 to 696 & 698, 689 & 697

• You will have to appear for Objective Type Screening Test (Multiple Choice Questions).

• This test will be based on following subjects/fields – General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.

For 658

• You will have to appear for Objective Type Screening Test (Multiple Choice Questions).

• This test will be based on following subjects/fields – General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.

• If you qualify the Screening Test, you will have to appear for Practical Skill Test of Graphic Design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw and Page Maker

For 673 & 674

• You will have to appear for Objective Type Screening Test (Multiple Choice Questions).

• This test will be based on following subjects/fields – General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.

• If you qualify the Screening Test, you will have to appear for Skill Test in Shorthand in either English or Hindi language.
